The 25 meter black powder pistol uses two types of live ammunition (22 caliber and 32 caliber). It comes in four categories: Center Fire, Standard, Rapid Fire Pistol, Sports Pistol (Women’s).

Game Rules

• Center Fire Pistol (Men’s)
  • A game in which 60 shots are fired in two different stages: 30 shots of slow fire, 30 shots of rapid fire (32 caliber)
  • Match: Slow fire 5 shots/5 min. x 6 times, rapid fire 5 shots/3 sec. x 6 times, 30 shots each/600 points
  • ※ The slow fire session involves shooting 5 shots each in 5 minutes over 6 rounds, and the rapid fire session involves firing 1 shot within 3 seconds when the target is facing straight. After a preparation of 7 seconds, 1 shot is fired again in 3 seconds, thus firing 5 shots over a total of 6 rounds.
• Standard Pistol (Men’s)
  • A game in which 60 shots are divided into 3 sessions with 20 shots each. Each session is comprised of 4 rounds of 5 shots each (22 caliber)
  • Match: 150 sec., 20 sec., 10 sec. (20 shots each)/600 points
• Sports Pistol (Women’s)
  • A game in which 60 shots are fired in two different sessions: 30 shots of slow fire, 30 shots of rapid fire (22 caliber)
  • Match: Slow fire 5 shots/5 min. x 6 times, rapid fire 5 shots/3 sec. x 6 times, 30 shots each/600 points
• Rapid Fire Pistol (Men’s)
  • An event in which 60 shots are divided into 2 sessions of 30 shots each; for each session, 1 shot is fired to 5 targets each within a set time in a series of 6 rounds altogether of 8 seconds, 6 seconds, and 4 seconds (20 shots each, 22 caliber).
  • Match: In one session, the player fires 5 shots aiming at 5 different targets within a set time, aiming to score 600 points.
